CRM reinforced plaster is an intervention technique that is similar to the traditional one from an application point of view but takes advantage of the benefits of using innovative materials for nets, angles and connectors. These are in fact made of GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer), a composite material characterized by high tensile strength and that does not oxidize. The application with lime-based mortars makes the reinforcement system optimal for masonry buildings, even constrained ones. The system can be applied for the reinforcement of press-flexion and shear masonry males, the reinforcement of arches, vaults and domes, and the confinement of columns.

Prometheus™ DT consists of GFRP Dragonet structural meshes,

GFRP Draconnect L-connectors and GFRP 66/66 angle.

The intervention is then completed by M15 lime-based mortar, CE marked according to UNI EN 998:1 and 998:2, Bio Force One™, an element for localized stress distribution in the vicinity of the Circlenet™ connector, and VINYL MAGNEKON two-component chemical anchor in cartridge.

Reinforced plaster is a widely used technique for the consolidation and reinforcement of existing buildings. The plaster increases the compressive strength of the masonry, and the mesh brings improved tensile strength. The connectors, in addition to ensuring the transfer of strengths to the substrate, if through, ensure the connection of the masonry faces. Some examples of use of the Prometheus™ DT system are: reinforcement of masonry males in press-flexion and shear, reinforcement of arches, vaults and domes, and confinement of columns.
